Start with downloads

Before you start

  • Your 2PC license key from your purchase email
  • Two Windows PCs on the same home network
  • MAKCU, your mouse and USB data cables
  • Ethernet cables recommended for both PCs

Get the right downloads

Both PCs

Open Downloads and enter your 2PC license key.

  • On PC2: download the 2PC launcher. This is where aimos stays running.
  • On PC1: install OBS Studio, DistroAV and NDI Runtime, then restart OBS. DistroAV adds the screen-sharing option to OBS.

Using a capture card instead? You can skip the OBS downloads. Follow the capture-card option in step 3. The optional PC1 latency boost is not needed to complete this guide.

You’re ready when the 2PC launcher is on PC2, and OBS on PC1 has DistroAV NDI Settings under Tools if you’re using OBS.

Connect your mouse through MAKCU

Use the port order below for the MAKCU shown in our guide. Keep the diagram open beside you so you don’t reverse the two PC cables.

If your unit looks different, check its port labels with support before connecting it.

You’re ready when moving your mouse moves the cursor on PC1. Test this on the desktop before opening your game.

Share the screen you play on

PC1

For OBS, use the settings below. The preview should show your entire gaming display, with no black borders or stretched image.

  1. In OBS, go to Sources, click + and add Display Capture. Choose the monitor you play on and leave Capture Method on Automatic.
  2. Open Settings → Video. For a Full HD setup, use the values below. Keep the Windows display, game, Base and Output resolutions the same.

120 FPS is a starting point if both PCs and your network can sustain it. If the picture stutters, try 60 FPS first. Keep the resolution unchanged so distant details stay clear. Don’t stretch a different resolution to fit these values.

  1. Open Tools → DistroAV NDI Settings. Enable Main Output and name it PC1-OBS.
  2. Keep OBS open on PC1. You don’t need to click Start Streaming or Start Recording.

You’re ready when OBS shows the correct screen and Main Output is enabled. In the next step, you’ll check that PC2 is receiving it.

Using a capture card instead of OBS?

Connect PC1’s graphics card to HDMI IN on the capture card, then connect the card’s USB to PC2. Use a direct USB 3 port on PC2.

If the card supports HDMI passthrough at your monitor’s resolution and refresh rate, connect HDMI OUT to your gaming monitor. Don’t also connect that monitor to PC1 with a second video cable.

If your card has no HDMI OUT, duplicate your gaming display to the capture card in Windows Display settings. Check the supported resolution and refresh rate before changing your display setup.

In step 4, choose Video Capture instead of OBS. Close other apps using the card if it cannot connect.

Open your panel and check the picture

PC2, then PC1
  1. On PC2: open the 2PC launcher and leave its window open. Find the line Open this URL on PC1.
  2. On PC1: type that complete address into your browser’s address bar, including http:// and :777. Use the address shown on your PC2, not an example from a screenshot.
  3. Sign in with your 2PC license key. Open OBS / Video Capture and select OBS, or Video Capture if you connected a card.
  4. Check the source says Connected and the MAKCU status shows it is connected. If you use several OBS sources, enter the one you named in OBS source name. Otherwise leave it empty.

For your first test, enable one feature at a time. Choose an activation button on the mouse connected to MAKCU, then click Save and wait for confirmation. Hold that button when testing. Your PC1 keyboard is not an activation input for 2PC.

You’re ready when the correct video source and MAKCU are connected, and your mouse still moves normally on PC1.

Next time you play

Keep the same connections. Open OBS on PC1 if you use it, open aimos on PC2, then open the panel address shown on PC2. Keep both apps running. You don’t need to install everything again.

  • The exact message, or a screenshot. For a connection issue, a photo of the cables helps.
  • What you’ve already tried, and what changed.

Hide your license key, email and personal details in screenshots. Never post your full key in a public channel.
